the iGrill

My husband really loves barbecuing.
For his birthday a few weeks ago, he asked for this awesome little device:

The cost is $79, and it connects to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

It also has an app that you download to use, free.

The iGrill has a meat thermometer connected to wires that goes to the device.  It communicates via Bluetooth.  The screen monitors the cooking time and internal temperature based on what you are grilling. You put the thermometer in, and it begins reading what the internal temperature of the meat.  There are also some handy little charts that show how long each type of carnivorous cut should be cooked at.

The timer shows how long you have until you're done.

I loved this feature, because if you have other prep work inside, you can take the smart device in with you to continue monitoring.

It also connects to social media, so if you are a foodie blogger or just like to share what you're eating (and you know who you are! guilty!) you can do that also.

It's a nifty little tool that takes a lot of the guesswork out of the grill.

If you'd like to read up more on the iGrill product, here is the link to the website!

Note: I have received no compensation of any kind for this post.
This is a personal review by me because we really like the iGrill, and my hubby wanted it for his bday.
My husband is employed by AT&T which is where we purchased it from, and how we first came to know of this product.  However, there is no company investment into this review either.
The product was purchased by us alone at full retail pricing.

We hope you found this post informative and fun!

  2. Who knew grilling could be so high-tech?? Lol!

This is a seriously great idea...I'm always asking "how much longer" so I know when to start the veggies or whatever I am making. I may have to look into this! ;o)
