My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia feature!

Can I just tell you how completely overwhelmed I am by the response on our makeover?  My heart is full!
thank you!!

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to Kristin at My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia for featuring me today on her Feature Friday.

Kristin has such a kind and sweet spirit.  She has been an incredible inspiration to me when I started blogging a little over a year ago.  I read her blog regularly, and am amazed at her projects that are beautiful and attainable.  It is totally humbling and a huge honor to be featured there today.

If you haven't yet visited My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia, go say hi.
Lots of inspiring projects.  You will feel like you've made a new friend.

Kristin also has a lovely Etsy shop, Uncommon Linens.  You will find lots of beautiful handmade goodies there!
Thank you so much Kristin!!

  1. I saw that this morning in my reader - nice! Of course, I love the way your kitchen turned out! :)

  2. Hi Denise!

I made my way over from Kristin's blog! It is so nice to meet you! I love, love, love your makeover!

    Have a great weekend!

  3. I saw your feature over at Kristen's...congrats!! You did an
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G job on your kitchen. I can't believe how well it turned out...better than I could have ever imagined. As you may know, I am very fond of warm woods and colors, so I thought your kitchen looked beautiful before you transformed it. However, to my SURPRISE it looks magazine PERFECT. I love all the trim work, it looks like a custom job. I’m truly impressed. =)

Thanks for sharing all your hard've got me thinking about going light on some of my furniture pieces. =) XO ~Liz

  4. Congrats Denise!! I am on my way over to see. I hope you re doing well and having a wonderful summer!

  5. Wow so glad I found you through Susan today, I'm now drooling over your lovely blog!

Thank you so much for your sweet comment about my screened in sun-room that Susan featured today for her Metamorphosis Monday.
We've enjoyed our little room so much this summer minus the "skeeters" we have here in Oregon and the baking sun when it finally comes out! Plus I can go in and change it up every once in a while to suite my mood and or season!

PS I see you live in Oregon too, I'm just north of you!

Thanks for taking the time to leave me a note!
