breakfast nook makeover - thrifty pillows

Over the weekend I went to one of my favorite neighborhoods for a garage sale. I found two white vintage looking pillows for my nook bench.
One dollar each!

I loved the embroidered flowers on them.  As soon as I saw these, I knew they would be perfect for our nook bench.

I made the two larger pillows.
Our local JoAnn stores are combining into one superstore, so they are clearing out all their merchandise for the big move.
Fabric: $10 for 5 yds (I used only 1 1/2yds- more for another project!)
Ball fringe: 88 cents a yard
Pillow forms: $7 each

I love the comfy extra seating our bench provides- great for parties and hanging out while talking on the phone.  I am anxious to get up to Ikea soon for some wall brackets to add some open shelving storage.
Visit my Etsy store to see some more of my fun shabby chic pillows!

Have a wonderful Thursday! Find some deals and steals!
