There was a time, not too long ago, when I wondered if I'd ever be able to celebrate Mother's day as a mom.
It is a privelege for me to be able to celebrate it firsthand.
Here's me, with our little blessing, on my first Mother's day:
(yes, that is me- sans blonde hair....)
This was also our very first house we purchased. A cute 1956 cottage.
Mother's Day also marks the third anniversary of the weekend we moved into our home (#4)!! That was quite a gift!
(hint: that window up above the garage will get some eye candy soon....)
And most importantly, I am so thankful for my mom. She is a great friend, and has taught me so much.
It is wonderful to have her in my life, and living so close by to do fun things with.
|Mother's Day 2010|
A blessed Mother's day to you- whether you are a mom, a mom to be, or a mom hopeful.
