nook bench pillows

It's been nice to be a bit more focused on projects, instead of going out and finding more to do that just sit- waiting to be completed!
Over the weekend, I worked on some Etsy projects, my slipcover, and some pillows for the bench.
I still need to get an oversized lumbar pillow for the middle, but I like how it's turning out.

I had the pillow forms for a looooong time before this project- still in the package- so it was nice to get this done! I think the vintage sheets coordinate really well with the color we have going on downstairs.

I also strategically shot one of my Christmas presents that my mom gave me- the cute little napkin holder with the fork and spoon!

Still nothin much going on the wall behind the bench.  I left up the platter from Christmas, just so there's something there.   :)
My hope is in a short little while -when I have the funds- to go to Ikea and get some white floating shelves.

I made the bench seat pillow from my $1 garage sale find this past fall:

It was an outdoor cushion with some pretty hideous fabric.
But, knowing how expensive cut foam is, I opted to try this out!

I did purchase a bit of extra thick batting to give it a little more depth.

Then covered it in a cute, pale green polka dot print!

I knew I'd be using other prints with the pillows, so I needed something that would coordinate well.

Here's a close up of the pillow- some oversized rick rack on the envelope cover:

I also added these little gold color swirly buttons from my grandma's stash.

I'm hoping by the end of the week I will have put more of these great vintage sheets to use in my Etsy shop!

Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
