holiday inspiration

Well, I am pooped.
I think it's this gloomy, raining buckets weather we're in right now.
By about 3pm, it feels like it's 5:30pm!

That said, I am going to spend my day enjoying a yoga class with my favorite instructor, Miss Marie, and then get some much needed work (clean up, wrapping gifts, end of year donations) in order!

With all of this very gray and dark weather, I am so enjoying visiting many of you who have light and bright homes right now!  It's good for my soul!

Here are a few of my favorite holiday rooms from one of my favorite decorating websites,
My Home Ideas.

I love the simplicity and brightness of this room.
The slipcovered chairs with the double skirt are just lovely.

Just gorgeous.
I think this would be my happy place, and would host lots of fun parties.

I love the light filled wall of windows.

This is just the cutest!
We've had two homes with white picket fences, and I hope we can figure out a way
to incorporate it again in our current place.

I LOVE gothic style doors like this.  The big heavy iron hinges....

If I ever have a house with a round door, I will literally jump up and down for joy.

I love built ins.  Who doesn't?
This just says: stay in, wear your jammies and read all day.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I am so excited to go to Portland for some super fun Christmas shopping, and time with my hubby and girlie!

A big Thank You to Wendy at the Shabby Nest for featuring my Bicycle Basket Wreath from last week's Frugal Friday!
