CSN teaser...and come on in!

A couple weeks ago I was invited by CSN stores to do a product review!
I'm super excited to do it- and I have to admit, I thought I was somewhat in the know with online shopping- but it's taken blogging for me to hear about this huge online store!

They have a ton of really neat products and great pricing to boot.

Everything from children's backpacks

to outdoor patio furniture...
(I'm loving this one!!!!)

and the section I've been frequenting on their online shops- lighting!
(can you tell where I might be heading?)

I'll post the review here soon, I can't wait to try them out!
If you've never been to CSN stores, here's the link to check out some of their great products.

****

I've enjoyed getting to meet so many of you, and by now you may or may not know that I love to host a good party!

Let me welcome you to our home!
As you come up our front steps, you would see these little lanterns lighting the way...

and the front door to welcome you in...

...sometimes it takes me a minute to get to the front door, or to scoop up Bella who is barking frantically and so excited for visitors!!
As you're waiting (not too long, I promise!)
you may be looking around at the porch...

More lanterns, a pineapple pine cone, and a lighted twig ball...

a small tree, and a vintage silver lunch pail...

I picked this up at the thrift store a couple weeks ago- I couldn't resist!  It even has the original owner's name labeled on it.
Harold.

the twig chair just around the corner on the porch has a red plaid camp blanket, ready for a chilly evening...

and once you're finally inside, you would see our staircase garland:

I've been slowly adding pictures to our gallery wall.  It's been pretty fun- kinda like a jigsaw puzzle!
Aaaand, onto the garland!

My red and white gingham ribbon I have all through the house, and giant sugar pine cones.

I filled in some of the garland with red apples- just to add a little more color to it.

I love this silver sparkly garland.  I'm glad I got all that I did, but I still wish I could find more.  Michael's sells the same garland now, but not in all silver. (sniff)

Country Living

I know that this is such a popular photo- it's one I drool over too.  I decided to make my own version of it.  This little side table is usually in the living room, but with the tree taking up so much space, things get put in new spots to make room.  This little tree and urn are just behind the door, at the base of the staircase.

I decorated it much more simply.   A little silver garland, a small white glittery star, and some silver ornaments.  Most of these items were things I already had- the tree, the urn, the garland.
I purchased the silver tray (it's metal) and the silver ornaments from the Dollar Tree. I bought a length of white silk ribbon to tie around the base of the urn.

I wish I could keep it up year round!
:)

Next on our visit I'd offer you a yummy beverage and something to eat.  And at the end of our visit, I would send you home with some of my homemade peppermint bark.
Thanks for coming over!
See you soon!

It all looks so festive and cozy! Your front porch is very inviting! I always love the quirky things, so I'd have to say that the old lunch pail is my favorite. Beautiful staircase, too! Thanks for sharing your home. I'd wait patiently at the door :)
