This weekend I had some time to finish a sign I've been working on, and start some new projects!
I am so happy with the end result! This one will be making it's way to a holiday show that I will be participating in a few weeks.
In case you're wondering what "God Jul" means, it's the Swedish equivalent of "Merry Christmas". My mom grew up in a Swedish community in Washington state, and she said it literally means Good Yule.
Here's the cards that are being distributed.
Mission Mill is a really neat historical site here in my city. This picture is from their Magic at the Mill that runs during the weeks prior to Christmas. It is a really beautiful old wool mill- there are lots of events that are held here now. If you're ever visiting the Willamette Valley, you should take a tour!
I'm working on some fun ornaments and a few more signs that will be making it's way to the show. I hope to have some to show you soon!
Also, I wanted to show you the beautiful hillside that we see from the front of our home. The leaves are so pretty!
I couldn't resist snapping a shot of our Red Bark Maple. When the leaves fall, we have the gorgeous red bark through the winter. It's one of my favorite trees- year round interest! :)
I know I've gotten away from the decorating..... (hanging my head....) so much has been going on I haven't had the time I'd like to complete what I want to right now.
The two rooms next on the agenda are the office, and my daughter's bedroom.
I hope you're enjoying all the fall has to offer.
I'm thankful for my little family of three. We have so much fun together- I wouldn't have it any other way!
Linking to these fun parties!
